My name is Veronica de Saint Phalle, and I live in Johnson, Vermont, with my husband and two dogs—a Golden and a Lab.As a mother, grandmother, and now happily retired, I've found my calling as a self-taught artist inspired by the natural world around me.I let my intuition guide each piece, allowing my subconscious to become the creative director. Whether working with brush and paint or exploring mixed media, I follow where the inspiration leads—there's always one more piece meant to be created.My process often begins with photography, capturing moments in nature that I later translate onto canvas. Sometimes I combine multiple photographs into a single painting, using these images as stepping stones toward the vision in my mind.I'm also passionate about tatting, the delicate art of knotted lace-making, which I incorporate into my work.
